Our card processor will monitor and flag accounts with unusual activity which may generate an alert on your credit or debit card account. The Fraud Detection center may contact you by phone to confirm the purchase in question. As an additional method of fraud notification, sign up to receive fraud alerts via text. The sooner we can contact you about possible fraud, the less likely you are to be impacted. Log in to Online Banking to sign up for BayPort Fraud Alerts.
Traveling Tip: If you’re traveling and using a BayPort credit or debit card, we encourage you to submit a Travel Notification Form by contacting us at (757) 928-8850 or through Online Banking under Secure Forms in order to avoid blocked transactions due to unusual activity.
