Frequently asked questions

What is early ACH?

With early ACH, you may receive your direct deposit up to 3 days early. You may have seen your direct deposit pending in your account for up to 3 days in the past, not being available until your actual payroll date. Early ACH will now allow those funds to be available after midnight following the date it is sent as opposed to the payroll date.

Why didn’t my deposit post early?

The Originating company (Employer) controls the payroll file creation/send date and sets the deposit settlement date; while originating companies can send the direct deposit/ACH payroll file 2 – 3 business days early, not all of them do.

Why does my coworker receive their direct deposit/ACH early, but I do not?

This may be due to the deposit account number information being incorrect or incomplete resulting in a delay in posting. Once the data is corrected, the direct deposit/ACH item will post at the next ACH future posting cycle at midnight.

Should I change the date on my Auto Transfers or Loan Payments?

We recommend setting the date on your Auto Transfers or Loan Payments to reflect your actual payroll date and not the early direct deposit/ACH posting date. There is no guarantee your employer will send payroll deposits early.
