2016 – 23rd branch opens in Virginia Beach, Providence Road & 24th branch location opens in Newport News, Brooks Crossing

2017 – Exceeds $1.5 billion in assets

2018 – BayPort celebrates 90 years! Grows Student-Run Credit Union program to 50 inside local elementary, middle, private and high schools across Hampton Roads

In 1928, 12 shipyard workers from Newport News Shipbuilding formed an organization with a specific purpose as a low-interest source of loans and a trusted place to deposit money.
