Get overdraft protection on checks, electronic transactions (ACH), bill payment and debit card transactions to avoid the hassle that comes when you lack the funds to cover your business transactions and scheduled payments. Our overdraft services add a valuable level of protection to your business checking account with options that work for you.

*To use your Overdraft Protection you must have funds available in your account/line of credit to cover the checks you write.

**Regulation D restricts savings transfers to six per month. A Line of Credit loan offers unlimited transfers up to your approved credit limit.

Overdraft Privilege

Most BayPort business members are eligible for Overdraft Privilege, which pays overdraft items up to $500 and eliminates the fee for non-sufficient funds. This service automatically covers checks, ACH, bill payment, ATM and debit card transactions without any effort on your part. There's no cost if you don't use it, and a fee of $30 applies each time you do.

Whether overdrafts will be paid is discretionary and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if an account is not in good standing, if the member is not making regular deposits, or if they have too many overdrafts. Each item presented will be assessed a paid non-sufficient fund (NSF) fee or a returned NSF fee if it is returned. You must make sufficient deposits to bring your account to a positive balance in order to avoid a daily fee of $5.00 if the account is overdrawn $75.00 or more.
