There are a few services available online to help protect your online purchases when using your credit or debit card. While not all merchants use these features, it is still beneficial for the sites that do.
Credit and Debit Card Security
Our card processor will monitor and flag accounts with unusual activity which may generate an alert on your credit or debit card account. The Fraud Detection center may contact you by phone to confirm the purchase in question. As an additional method of fraud notification, sign up to receive fraud alerts via text. The sooner we can contact you about possible fraud, the less likely you are to be impacted. Please log in to Online Banking to sign up for BayPort Fraud Alerts.
Traveling Tip: If you're traveling and using a BayPort credit or debit card we encourage you to submit a Travel Notification Form by contacting our Member Information Center or the Customer Service number located on the back of your card to notate your account in order to avoid the inconvenience of a block being placed do to unusual activity.
