This year, the Accelerating Change Together (ACT) Grant focuses on education & workforce development.
To address gaps in services for Hampton Roads, three leading corporations headquartered in Newport News, VA—Newport News Shipbuilding, Ferguson, and BayPort Credit Union—have partnered to fund a 3-year $500,000 transformation grant. The inaugural year’s focus will be on Education & Workforce Development.
Recognizing each other’s unwavering commitment to the community, the 2022 ACT Grant is an extension of the companies’ existing charitable giving.
