This year, the Accelerating Change Together (ACT) Grant focuses on education & workforce development.
To address gaps in services for Hampton Roads, three leading corporations headquartered in Newport News, VA—Newport News Shipbuilding, Ferguson, and BayPort Credit Union – have partnered to fund a $500,000, 3-year transformation grant. The inaugural year’s focus will be on Education and Workforce Development.
Recognizing each other’s unwavering commitment to the community, the 2022 ACT Grant is an extension of the companies’ existing charitable giving.
