Meet your new Credit Card.

In June 2018, BayPort Credit Union will be converting to a new Credit Card Processor. This will improve our ability to implement new technology as it becomes available and continue to provide the highest level of fraud protection.

The conversion to the new system requires ALL MEMBERS who have a BayPort CU Platinum Credit Card receive a NEW chip-enabled card.

Please watch your mailbox from June 1 through June 15 for this new card and read the information below to ensure a smooth transition. During the conversion process, your new card may be issued a new account number. All will be issued a new expiration date and CVC code.

When you receive your NEW BayPort Platinum Card:

  • WAIT TO ACTIVATE until Monday, June 18, 2018. Stop using your old card after 11:59 p.m. on June 17, 2018.
  • TO ACTIVATE YOUR NEW CARD call the phone number on the sticker of the new card from the primary phone number on your account. Be prepared to answer a few security questions based on the primary cardholder’s information. If you get a message that the system is not ready, try again later in the day.
  • RE-ESTABLISH ANY AUTOMATIC BILLING with merchants. Even if your card number remains the same, you will need to update your expiration date and CVN if required.

    All cardholders will receive a letter explaining the credit card conversion, as well as information regarding online access and steps to take before and after the conversion.
