VUTMA Accounts

BayPort Credit Union now offers you an excellent opportunity to save for your child's or young adult's education. By opening a VUTMA account, an individual account is created by the custodian who opens the account as an irrevocable gift to a minor. The minor to whom the gift is made is the beneficiary and has no withdrawal or inquiry privileges until the age specified by the custodian at the time the account is opened (either 18 or 21).
