Enhanced Login Security

To better protect your online experience, we have introduced Enhanced Login Security to eBranch. This means that when you attempt to log in from a computer we don't recognize, you will be asked to either use a temporary access code or answer a security question you have set up. With our Access Code feature your account is more secure against malware and other viruses that could capture keystrokes to gain access to your account.

Enhanced Login Security will:

  • Defend against identity theft and fraud.
  • Provide security from any computer, wherever you are.
  • Make it easy for you to bank online anytime, anywhere.
  • Require Unregistered devices (computers you have not marked as Private) be required to enter an access code or answer a challenge question. Using a temporary Access Code provides better security against Keystroke Capture Software (Malware, etc); BayPort recommends using a temporary Access Code.

Do you want to skip entering an Access Code or answering a challenge question when logging in from this computer? Simply set your computer to "Private" from eBranch>User Options>Login Security>Enhanced Login Security (ELS).

With the addition of this feature to eBranch, we are now also offering the Forgotten Password feature. Access to eBranch has never been easier. For more information on Enhanced Login Security or Forgotten Password, please contact us.
