BayPort Credit Union partnered with Royal Farms Gas Station and
Z104 FM Radio to promote BayPort’s “Ditch Your Bank” campaign on Friday, July 1, 2011. Z104 teased their listeners for over a week of the upcoming event and made the grand announcement at 6:00 am on Friday, July 1, 2011 of the location on Rt. 17 in York County. Beginning at 7:00 am the first 104 cars received $20 free gas, their windshields washed and a free BayPort gift.

BayPort’s staff directed traffic, pumped the gas, washed windshields, handed out gifts and shared the benefits of joining a credit union, while Royal Farms gave away free breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Z104’s morning host, Shaggy, was on site to add to the excitement.
